Before SuperSeed, Mads spent fifteen years building technology businesses. At IBM, he ran the UK business unit that delivered one of the company's earliest cloud computing offerings. In 2009 he then founded Sefaira, a building performance simulation platform that brought real-time energy and daylight analysis into architectural design, and led the company from inception to acquisition by Trimble in 2016. At SuperSeed, he brings that operator's perspective to early-stage investing, backing more than 35 technical teams since 2018 across three funds. Both mature funds rank in the top quartile on the Cambridge Associates benchmark. Portfolio companies work alongside Boeing, BMW, ABB, and BAE Systems. Mads is the named inventor on multiple US technology patents. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in International Business from Copenhagen Business School.
